Richard Sarpong

Hi! I’m a PhD student at Warsaw University of Technology. My research looks at applying transformer models to network intrusion detection in IoT environments, and how well they generalise as networks and data change. Professionally, I work as a database engineer.

To understand what I’m working on, read in order:

  1. Agents as Database Clients Where agent workloads exceed what ACID transactions can express.
  2. Can LLMs Make Scientific Discoveries? Discovery as a system of models, tools and verification.
